Chinese New Year is the most important festival for Chinese. This is family time to reward the hard work of the previous year and welcome the new year ahead. People will celebrate and greet each other with blessing words. Red packets will be given from family and relatives to youngers as a token of good fortune in the coming year. To double the blessing, packets are designed by taking 4 tradition blessing phrases (金玉滿堂、報喜圖、白頭富貴、四季平安) to illustrate its meaning or story behind in a graphical way and pattern art.
